The sequential reconstruction of Wittgenstein's notes on action and intention (presented in this article) aims to further discuss the productivity of using Wittgenstein's notes on action theory within social theory (and related research in moral philosophy and philosophy of law) and is given as an example of Wittgenstein’s consistent observance the context principle (inextricable bond of social and philosophical concepts and constructions with the context of various forms of life and linguistic practices). Through the context principle, the article examines numerous attempts to incorporate the philosophy of the late Wittgenstein into social and related research (Albert Ogien, Chantal Mouffe, ethnomethodology, Strong Programme in the sociology of scientific knowledge, the sociology of color).
